for Athletes
SASI provides services and support to talented
and high performance athletes and coaches who are committed
to taking their ability to the highest national and international
levels.
Squad Scholarships are awarded to athletes to participate in a SASI program sport and comprehensive training program.
Individual High Performance and Paralympic Scholarships offer financial and service assistance to individual athletes who have achieved an elite level of performance in their sport at the senior open level.
Individual Talented Athlete Awards offer financial assistance to talented junior athletes to assist them progress to the senior elite level.
Country Athlete Awards
aim to assist junior athletes from rural areas to achieve their sporting potential.
Other funding opportunities for athletes are available from a variety of sources including local government the Australian Sports Commission and Rotary.
South Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander athletes representing South Australia in their chosen sport may be eligible for the club fee subsidy program.
