Results from Sprint Canoe World Championships
At the recent Canoe Sprint World Championships held in Szeged, Hungary, SASI Scholarship Holder Hannah Davis together with her Australian K4 500m team mates gained qualification for next year’s Olympic games by qualifying for the A final eventually finishing 5th. This young group with Hannah taking a senior role have not been together long and as a result of this great performance have booked a spot for London 2012.

WK4 500m A final – Rachel Lovell, Hannah Davis, Jo Brigden-Jones, Lyndsie Fogarty, (Finishing 5th and achieving Olympic qualification standard)
WK2 200m – Hannah Davis, Jo Brigden-Jones. Finishing 3rd
Women’s relay – Alana Nichols, Hannah Davis, Jo Brigden-Jones, Rachel Lovell. Finishing 5th
K1 1000 B final – Luke Morrison, Murray Stewart. Finishing 2nd

First ICF World Cup of 2011

The final selection for the National Senior team takes place at the Sydney International Regatta Centre 28-29 March it is expected Hannah Davis and Luke Morrison will have strong claims and are likely to be selected on the National Senior Team.
