Club Development Conference 2011
...my club, my community
Calling all sport and recreation club volunteers!
You are invited to attend the 2011 Club Development Conference, being conducted by the Office for Recreation and Sport, in partnership with the South Australian National Football League, on Sunday, 15 May 2011 at AAMI Stadium.
The aim of this annual conference is to reward and educate volunteers involved with running our community clubs, providing them with the skills and strategies to improve their club's operations.
This year's conference theme is My Club, My Community and will feature keynote speakers Glenn Manton and Dr Judy Esmond. Breakout sessions are built around the ORS's successful STARCLUB Club Development Program.
Former AFL star Glenn Manton will launch the conference, drawing on his diverse talents to challenge, inspire and entertain the audience on the difference community clubs can make in people's lives. Dr Judy Esmond will share her wealth of knowledge on volunteer management and recruitment and assist clubs with practical tips and ideas in this critical area.
Tickets are $20 each. Discounts apply for multiple registrations from the same club and there is free entry for accompanied club committee members under 23 years of age.
